any time a feed is updated, i see these messages:

Add extra info with each mention. If possible, show number of comments and inlinks (blogs, Youtube, etc), views (Youtube) and RTs (tweets) for the indivudual mentions.

This will automatically give the user an indication if the mentions has gained a high authority.

Incorporate sentiment analysis into mentions so you can see whether the article, tweet, post, was positive or negative - maybe with an icon or something simple to view

Place a checkbox next to each mention so that multiple nodes can be checked and deleted at one time.

It would be helpful to provide the ability to not even add a mention if it contains certain exclusionary keywords. This would server to help better ensure that mentions are relevant to the topic keyword lists and their "intention".

Example: My topic might include keywords related to rabbit shows. My users are maybe against raising rabbits for meat and there I want to exclude any mentions that have the word meat also in them.

Being able to geotag news mentions would allow users to filter topics by a location that is relevant to them.

Delete a topic does not delete the taxonomy tattler topic keywords or tattler user tags

I want mentions only from a selected set of sources( in my case newspaper feeds) and not from the entire web. Is it possible in Tattler to specify the sources?

It happens quite often that the same stories (much like retweets) are posted on different sites and as such, appear twice. If there was a way to link them up together to see them only once (with their multiple sources listed side by side or as a list), it would hele deal with the clutter.

TattlerApp is picking up articles from 2007, which is fine, but the way mentions are displayed and sorted makes it look like they are new (e.g. 2 days 1 hour ago). Presumably, people are using TattlerApp to see what is going on *right now* so old stuff should be shown farther back in the time-line.

The collect api page has some innacuracies, a reference to technorati in the help text for flickr api key, no mention of the flickr api being in two parts, also, i was not able to find the compete api key after signing up for an account there

On the links it might be nice to provide a "Preview" button that pops a "picture" of the page up so you can decide if you want to link to it or not.

And if the Source URL already exists in the mentions, add a vote + comment with what the user provided...
In other words, include the feature " bookmark this" on the browser...

mentions coming in from twitter but they are not displayed in the tweets section. Am I missing something?

in home page, Views doesn't display teaser of the articles, but only titles: if I see the html source of pages I can see the teaser. Why? When is available 2.0 version of Tattler? Thanks in advance
