I suggest you ...

Make it possible to identify duplicate stories from different sources

It happens quite often that the same stories (much like retweets) are posted on different sites and as such, appear twice. If there was a way to link them up together to see them only once (with their multiple sources listed side by side or as a list), it would hele deal with the clutter.

Tattler already does a lot to eliminate duplicates (as in: the same story brought in by different means). Re-tweets are not technically duplicates and should not be eliminated. However, Alexandre has a good point that there's value in grouping those to surface a conversation around the same article, follow-ups, trackbacks etc.

That is something we would like to do, down the line, yes.

        Thank you.

That is important to me too. Agregating feeds from google news on different keywords but on the same topic can create duplicate.

Using the original URL article as a key would be a great start.
But did you mean looking into the content itself and use calais to determinate duplicates? Is that possible?
